A 12-page educational resource for middle school, high school, and college aged youth coping with civil unrest. Includes a 4-page Study Guide for teachers and clergy, and an Overview with discussion questions for parents and guardians.

“The Power of a Word,” explores how we as Orthodox Christians can cope with times of strife in society. Using Scripture, the Divine Liturgy, quotes from the saints, and present-day scenarios, the resources are designed to help young people in grades 6-12 and college both express their feelings and concerns and also learn from the Church’s teachings how to nurture their faith in Jesus Christ. In moments of struggle, which can cause anxiety and stress for people of all ages, it's important to know we can rely on our Savior and the Orthodox faith to find the peace and consolation to endure.
